Notre Dame University –Shouf Campus family came together for their annual Christmas mass which was held at the Mar Abda Church on December 23, 2016 at noon. Fr. Hanna Tayar, Director of NDU-Shouf Campus, along with Fr. Dominique Nasr, Assistant to the Director and Fr. Walid Nassif, University Chaplain, celebrated the mass.
Fr. Nasr delivered the Christmas sermon which centered around the greatness and true meaning of Jesus’ love. Jesus, Fr. Nasr said, came for all humanity- to extend his message from the land of the Phoenicians and into the entire world. He is the true embodiment of love.
Fr. Tayar thanked Fr. Nasr for his sermon and both wished the entire NDU-Shouf Campus family a Christmas filled with peace of mind, love, and togetherness. Fr. Tayar thanked the Lord for the united spirit among NDU-Shouf Campus family members and noted that it the reason behind NDU-Shouf Campus’ success and health.
After mass, there was the cutting of the Christmas Log and the exchanging of toasts as NDU-Shouf Campus Pastoral Group distributed Christmas CDs to everyone present.
